Creating Compelling Research Images
Photos convey a lot of information, and well-done photos can better illustrate your concept than words in your paper. More than this, photo documentation is a part of good science; you can show research sites, lab techniques, and researchers at work. Your photos are used in scientific talks, public outreach (required by most grants), scientific papers, media interviews, etc. Come to this class to learn about composition, lighting, photographing people, and more. The class will be liberally illustrated, and the instructor will demonstrate using cameras with different capabilities.
