519 CANCELLED-Fundamentals to Well Log Interpretation and Reservoir Characterization of Petroleum Systems
This course is designed for students and early career geologists interested in gaining experience applicable to work in the energy industry. The course will focus on fundamental well log interpretation to characterizing geologic units and the reservoir properties of a petroleum systems using data from a Wyoming oil field. The participants will apply their new skills to develop subsurface maps. This course will provide participants with experience in the fundamentals of subsurface geologic mapping.
