Sequence Seismic Stratigraphy for Siliciclastic Reservoirs caracterisation

Sequence Seismic Stratigraphy for Siliciclastic and Carbonate Reservoirs caracterisation Hydrocarbon and hydrologic geologic reservoirs became more difficult to investigate and present nowadays a great interest and challenges for social and economic countries and populations behavior. Among new modern methods to their characterisation, seismic reflection and wire line logging are the most efficient. Technologic and IT developments of data acquisition and traitements across these last decades, had led to the development of better seismic resolution of frequencies, amplitudes and reflectors attributes. Especially, for siliciclastic and carbonate reservoirs wich are concerned as well as for water as for hydrocarbons  fluids. This course will interests the seismic stratigraphic new methods for analyses in siliciclastic and carbonate environments, from platforms to basins, to identify and charcaterise trap zones and water accululations. New methods for analyses coming from years of experiences and case studies in hydrocarbon and hydroheologic domains will be synthetised and resumed with some applications. Studied material will be seismic lines, wire line logs of petroleum and hydrology wells, maps...etc.
