523 AGeS Geochronology Workshop

The AGeS (Awards for Geochronology Student) research program has been a catalyst for advancing geochronology science and education for the past eight years. This workshop will further those goals by bringing together members of the geochronology community, including AGeS student grant recipients, mentors, lab directors, and scientists interested in furthering their understanding of modern geochronology and its applications. This symposium will be a broad and intensive discussion of geochronology sensu lato with presentations by invited experts and cover the latest developments in technique, analysis, applications, and geoscience results. The program will include presentations by AGeS awardees and a roundtable discussion for community needs and AGeS feedback. Attendees should plan to take a bus from either downtown Denver or the Denver airport to the University of Colorado, Boulder, where the course will be held.
