531 CANCELED: Using the StraboSpot and StraboMicro Data Systems for Geology
StraboSpot and StraboMicro are designed to help geologists collect data in the field and integrate field data with laboratory measurements. Both are designed to allow users to integrate images seamlessly into the database and attribute field data flexibly. We developed the application and supporting vocabulary through extensive interactions with the structural geology, petrology, sedimentary geology, and experimental deformation communities. This short course aims to introduce new users to the field app and the new StraboMicro application and help them design and build projects for both research and teaching.
