Abstract

The Caspian Sea as the largest lake in the world has important characteristics from geology point of view. Sea level fluctuation and wave dominated area along the beach region caused real hazardous statement and urban deformation. The last progression phase from 30 years ago till now unfortunately makes lots problems in this area (Khoshravan, H, 2004). In this research we are attempting to assess sedimentary response to rapid seasonal sea level fluctuation. So 90 sediment samples from sea bed along the 6 line stations: (Miankaleh, Larim, Sorkhroud, Nashtaroud, Anzali, Talesh) from several depths (0, 1, 2.5, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20, 30 meters) have been evaluated considering sedimentary texture and composition and they were compared to each other at the different seasonal periods. After laboratory test and soft ware analysis data result shows us that the beach sedimentary has different response against rapid sea level seasonal changing.
