Abstract
Given the immediacy of EarthScope data collection/distribution and the breath of computer visualization tools the scientific and educational communities can now explore and examine EarthScope data in near real-time. These resulting data products can be used in research studies, directly used in classrooms (K-12, undergraduate and graduate) and leveraged in discussions with policy makers and earthquake response teams. The current streamlining of EarthScope data processing is allowing us to narrow the vast divide between education' products and science' products because a single module can be developed for both groups. Today, the steps a seismologist takes investigating a notable earthquake are identical to what students learn in the classroom and to what media response teams want to highlight in news broadcasts. Many of these data and tools are web-based and therefore accessible to anyone with an Internet connection. These products are permitting scientists of all ages to study the data of today.
