Abstract
General stratigraphic comparison between the ~250 foot thick Ernst Member of the Boquillas Formation in Big Bend National Park as measured and defined at the Hot Springs Trail Reference Section (Cooper and others, 2007) is compared to the ~175 foot thick Eagle Ford Formation as measured and defined at Lozier Canyon, Terrell County, TX (Pessagno, 1969; Donovan, 2011; Lock, personal cummunication, 2011).
