Abstract
Methods: I am using iShowU software to record tutorials as YouTube video output in order to reach a broad range of viewers. My series of videos ranges from beginner to advanced tutorials for users operating on all Google mapping technologies.
Results: I hope to contribute to an escalation in using digital mapping technologies for geological applications and in the process learn about them myself and I hope to expand the possibilities to present geological concepts or field data in digital format.
I will demonstrate the software at the digital poster session T57. This work is supported by a 2014 Google GEO Curriculum Grant and by the NSF DUE 1323419 grant to Drs. Declan De Paor and Stephen Burgin.
