Abstract

This session will discuss an array of strategies and options for maximizing Internet-based technology in providing interactive, informative resources for both informal and formal NGSS-aligned geoscience education -- including an online compendium of materials, standards-based activities, activity-linked videos, citizen science opportunities, an events calendar, a map of potential partners, a monthly newsletter, quarterly webcasts, a virtual field trip, and more -- based on the model of the Earth Science Week website, annually tapped by users in more than 200 nations, territories and regions worldwide.
