Abstract

Landscapes and riverscapes are hydrologically interconnected through four dimensions (space and time). While much is understood about the hydrological processes that operate on Earth, myriad questions remain on how these hydrologically interconnected processes flux across space and time. Consequently, this has implications for our understanding of Earth system processes, both biotic and abiotic and feedbacks within, and protection and conservation efforts. This short presentation focuses on how landscape structure and composition influences the spatial variability of river thermal regimes.
