Abstract
The “Support 2YC Students” section provides access to a substantial set of modules that detail ways faculty can address particular issues or challenges for their students. These include supporting transfer students, developing self-regulated learners, supporting students with disabilities, and providing integrative experiences like undergraduate research as well as many other strategies. “Sustain Faculty Learning” showcases the SAGE Musings blog featuring a growing collection of posts that address topics related to the three foci of the project – supporting academic success, broadening participation, and facilitating students’ professional pathways into the geosciences. In addition, this section of the website pulls together principles for design and implementation of effective professional development workshops for faculty. “Make Change Happen” explores models to make and sustain change at the departmental, institutional, or regional level in the context of two-year colleges. This section focuses on the work of teams of SAGE 2YC Change Agents to tackle issues facing their institutions and strengthen their regional networks of 2YC faculty. These and the many other resources on the website support 2YC faculty in making substantive improvements to geoscience education and in connecting to a larger community of practice of their peers.
